Too Much!

This is too much! Why is the current administration messing with everything near and dear to my heart? Soccer, science, women's right, hell, people's rights in general! I can't believe that these Tibetan women who were supposed to come play at a soccer tournament were denied visas! No wonder they don't want the Unites States to bid on the 2026 World Cup any longer. I don't even know what to say anymore about some of the things that have been happening. I have to admit that being a minority, a woman, and a mathematician is scary during this time. I never thought I would be feeling like this, especially in this day and age. All I can say is we cannot stay silent! We must be proactive and do whatever we can to stop the things that are happening. There are so many ways to help: marching in protests, volunteering for organizations, donating to causes. The possibilities to do something are endless. I for one am really looking forward to the March for Science to be held on April 22. I will be there! I hope you will too!
