Graduate School

So graduate school is...hard. Not to say that I am not enjoying it, it is just a lot of work, which is to be expected. I feel overwhelmed! I sometimes think I would rather be at my old job so that way I could at least be making more money but then I think about why I decided to go to graduate school instead of staying at home and working. I want to make a difference! I want to solve problems and to make even a small change in the world. I know with everything going on with the current administration in regards to math and science it may be harder to make an impact but even a small change can matter, right? I feel that maybe if I can help even in just a small way that is something. I still feel like more women should go into higher education in the STEM fields, and I hope to maybe someday inspire a young woman to do this! I hope to be able to be a mentor to someone someday. Anyway, back to my finite differences and PDE's homework, because it certainly won't do itself! :)
